Using virtual coordinates in the establishment of inter-domain LSPs

Abstract: We propose two heuristics to select the downstream AS and ingress router for inter-domain LSPs. The ﬁrst heuristic is based on the nearest NH. The second heuristic is based on the Vivaldi 2d coordinates. We evaluate the quality of the resulting path and the number of unsuccessful attempts.
